We offer various vouchers to help you make your project EU-ready <\/strong>– increasing its chances of success and societal impact. Vouchers range from \u20ac1.000 to max. \u20ac40.000<\/strong> and can finance the further development of your project if it shows potential for European Union funding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because we are funded by our partners, our support is completely free for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

European Project Development Subsidy \u2013 Friesland 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Friesland European Project Development Subsidy supports organizations in Friesland<\/strong> to develop high-quality European projects that contribute to the region\u2019s broad welfare. The scheme covers different phases of project development, from initial ideas to international prestige projects, with tailored funding and support at each stage.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

        \n Project Development – Voucher provide up to \u20ac10.000 <\/p>\n \n <\/div>\n

        \n

        \n For Project Development, up to \u20ac10.000 are available to engage an expert who can help shape a project idea or plan. Applications require a positive recommendation from the EPF-program manager, must be executed by a qualified expert, and the costs should be realistic. The project plan must be completed within one year. <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

        \n Project Applications – Vouchers provide up to \u20ac15.000 <\/p>\n \n <\/div>\n

        \n

        \n Project Applications vouchers provide up to \u20ac15.000 for expert assistance in preparing and submitting a European funding application. The EPF assessment committee evaluates these applications, ensuring the expert executes the work and that costs are proportional to the expected outcomes. Applications for the EU programs must be submitted within one year after receiving the voucher. <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

        \n Membership in an Existing Network – Up to \u20ac5.000 for temporary membership, up to two years <\/p>\n \n <\/div>\n

        \n

        \n Membership in an Existing Network offers up to \u20ac5.000 for temporary membership, up to two years, in an established European network. This requires EPF program manager approval, the applicant must not have been a prior member, and membership must begin after the subsidy application. Membership should start within one year. <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

        \n Network Development – Vouchers provide up to \u20ac20.000 <\/p>\n \n <\/div>\n

        \n

        \n Network Development grants up to \u20ac20.000 for building new European networks in collaboration with Frisian partners. Approval from the EPF-assessment committee is required, costs must be reasonable, and networks should be sustainable. Network formation must be completed within two years. <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

        \n Boppeslach Projects – Voucher provide up to \u20ac40.000 <\/p>\n \n <\/div>\n

        \n

        \n Boppeslach Projects provide up to \u20ac40.000 for large, cross-sectoral projects with international visibility, with a minimum project size of \u20ac750.000. Applications require EPF-assessment committee approval and must align with European themes and the RIS3 North Netherlands strategy. The project should demonstrate a lasting contribution to broad welfare, involve a cross-sectoral and international consortium, and applications must be submitted within one year. <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

        \n The Work Budget – Voucher provide up to \u20ac25.000 <\/p>\n \n <\/div>\n

        \n

        \n The Work Budget, up to \u20ac25.000, is an additional funding option for Boppeslach projects. It supports consortium formation, network engagement, and project planning. This budget is only available in combination with a Boppeslach project, requires EPF assessment committee approval, and costs must be necessary and reasonable. Applications must also be submitted within one year. <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div> \n\n\n

        The program manager reviews Project Development and Membership applications, while the assessment committee evaluates Project Applications, Network Development, Boppeslach Projects and Work Budgets. Activities must be carried out by qualified experts and costs should be proportional to the results. Boppeslach projects have additional requirements, including alignment with European themes, RIS3 North Netherlands 2021\u20132027, demonstrable contribution to broad welfare, cross-sectoral collaboration, and international engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        The subsidy covers up to 100% of eligible costs with fixed maximum amounts per activity. External experts may be compensated up to \u20ac180 per hour, excluding VAT. Applications may be denied if the applicant is not based in Friesland, the activity falls outside the scheme, the application is submitted after the deadline, the evaluation criteria are not met, or the activity has already been fully funded or completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Accountability is ensured through an activity report, supported by evidence such as submitted European applications or cost statements. This guarantees transparency and efficient use of public funds. The subsidy is subject to European de-minimis rules, with sector-specific variations for general, agricultural, or fisheries activities. Applicants must submit a de-minimis declaration to prevent exceeding state aid limits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        The scheme is temporary and valid until 28 February 2026. Applications submitted after this date will not be considered.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
